WHAT WE DO

We provide information, resources and assistance to men and women who are incarcerated, recently released from incarceration, chemically addicted to drugs or alcohol, and emotionally and mentally effected as a result of trauma.

HIGHLIGHTS

Restoring lives, hope, and relationships after incarceration and addiction. Through the development of life skills, our program will give these individuals the support, skills, and accountability they need to live independently, foster healthy relationships, and maintain the employment and financial freedom needed to succeed in the community.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Provide information and assistance to individuals to establish credit worthiness, manage money and credit accounts. Assistance with purchasing a vehicle or home. First Time Homebuyer Information.

LIFE SKILL PROGRAMS

We will provide participants with access to a range of classes, support services and life skill classes, including mentoring, counseling, recovery programs, spiritual guidance, and life skills development as they pertain to each individual participant.

EDUCATION

GED. Driving Education. Getting a Driver’s License. Continuing Education. Qualify for CDL Licensing.

WORK READINESS

Project Return. Completing an application/resume. Receive Vocational Training. TN Workforce Essentials.

The Restoration House

The Restoration House will be the first of three houses that will provide housing for men in a safe environment that is drug and alcohol-free. The residents will participate in a 12-month Christ-centered discipleship program designed to restore, rebuild, and make new their self, family, and relationship with others.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; Behold, all things have become new.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are an invaluable part of this ministry. This ministry could not exist without volunteers like you, who have a passion to serve others. The difference you can make in another person’s life is immeasurable. At times, all we need is someone in our life who will listen and love us without judgment. Opportunities include positions inside and outside the jail/prison.

The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

SMALL GROUP LEADER

Lead or Co-Lead a small group inside or outside the Jail, at The Restoration House.

MENTORING

Meet once a week with a program participant on the outside who is currently incarcerated through video phone calls or who is residing at The Restoration House.

COUNSELING

Meet as needed with program participant/s. Individually or Group sessions, on the outside.

TRANSPORTATION

Pick-up inmates being released and transport to housing and/or recovery centers. Provide transportation for program participants to specific destinations for doctor appts. to obtain ID’s, apply for SNAP, pick-up clothing, food, medication, etc.
